I learned to loom-knit about a year ago and Fall inspires me to knit, knit, knit! This is a hat that I made for my niece. I used Martha Stewart's Knit and Weave Loom Kit to make it. I also have the Knifty Knitter, which I love. The MS one gives you all the looms in an easy to store package.
I love making these. There are a decorative way of collecting notes for a Mom-to-be to look at for years to come. Each page has a decorative pocket to hold the note.
I purchsed some sheer adhesive for The Rubber Cafe a few months ago and decided to try my hand at some ribbon rosettes. I must say that I love the adhesive. It's tacky when dry so it's like a wet and a dry glue rolled into one!
My Son's school participates in an arts-based program entitled "Reflections". I have the honor of being the chair of the committee. I made this poster to promote the program and encourage participation.
Last week, we celebrated our teachers. I came across a few chipboard coasters with nature scenes on them. I knew they would make a beautiful craft. I added glossy accents to make the birds and flowers pop.
It's starting to warm up in the South and I started to wonder, what will I do with my knitting stuff when it gets warm. So, why not make some light stuff.....
Last week, Carrie from thegreenbeanscrafterole was a guest designer at Everyday Cricut on last week. She made this cute little pin and my wheels started to turn! I love, love, love shrinky dink! I make these for several people at church and my son's teachers...
January blessed us with so much rain, snow, and just plain COLD weather! Needless to say, I was able to find some time to craft. But first some fun in the snow.....
