Knifty Knitter - 1st attempt

I found a Knifty Knitter on clearance at Walmart yesterday.  I've seen different things done wih them and it seems like a pretty neat tool (as if I need another one of those).  So watched a couple of you tube videos and wallah.....

Not bad for my 1st time?  I don't really know what I'm going to do with it yet.  I'm not so crazy about the center, so it will definitely get some bling.

Commemorative Doves

A cousin of mine passed away last week.  Her death was very sudden and it is a very difficult time for my family.  While I know that God has a plan and we must accept it, I felt compelled to create a symbol of the life she lived.  Immediately I though of a Dove (she was a human symbol of peace).

I used shrinkydink to make the charms.  I had a little time to make a bunch, but with help, I did it!  We passed them out during the repast (after the funeral).
